WE'VE SPENT NATIONAL APPRENTICESHIP WEEK PROMOTING DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES TO OUR STAFF

With briefings for our staff members across London, we've been busy promoting the idea that apprenticeships are not only for new joiners or young people but can be applied to all kinds of roles including our operations management.

“We are moving on from the traditional perception of who “an apprentice” is” - says Klaudia Mitura, Manager |Learning & Development – “instead, this year we are aiming to optimise our levy with a forward-thinking approach of boosting the skills of our staff members across ALL levels.”

In practice this means that Vacherin’s 2020 strategy will develop and formalise leadership and management skills with a globally recognised professional diploma enabling new managers to seamlessly step into management.

Additionally, the senior and operational management teams have the opportunity to take advantage of higher level programmes which enhance their business management skills to ensure the continued success of Vacherin’s contracts and our partnerships with our clients.

There is also a selection of programmes that are available as part of Front of House and Chef Academies with a fresh training model for the culinary and hospitality stars of the future leading to internal progression between roles.

All schemes are structured to develop technical knowledge, practical skills and business commerciality all through innovative methods such as 1-1 coaching, online resources and work based projects.

We’re truly proud of our strategy which is fully in-line with the nationwide campaign “Look Beyond” – celebrating the diversity of apprenticeship opportunities.
