Vacherin has won the Food Service Catey 2019 Extra Mile Award, in recognition of our fundraising efforts which saw us smash our target and raise over £20,000 for The Luminary Bakery. Having been shortlisted for two awards: Contract Caterer of the Year and CSR, we were honoured to have won The Extra Mile Award - a category in which there is no shortlist, with the winner being announced on the night.

A massive thank you to our nine cyclists, including Phil Roker, our Owner and MD, for taking on and completing the epic 700 mile, 7 day bike ride from our home in Hatton Garden to the Museum of Vacherin in the Swiss Alps. The funds raised enabled Luminary to fit out a new training kitchen at their bakery in Stoke Newington, in which they provide severely disadvantaged women with much-needed skills and support to set them on the path to employability, to help turn their lives around.
