As part of our ongoing Glass Plate Project, we brought one of our client teams at Clarksons into the studio with Marc for a hands-on workshop exploring the journey behind the finished pieces.
Stepping away from the everyday environment, the team experienced the process first-hand — from shattering glass materials through to transforming them into unique ceramic forms.
The session provided insight into how materials, craftsmanship and design decisions influence the way food is ultimately presented and experienced.
Rather than focusing only on the finished product, the workshop explored everything that contributes to creating meaningful pieces — the thinking, technique and collaboration behind them.
The experience also created something lasting, with bespoke pieces from the workshop now being used across Clarksons sites.
