Street Vacherin 2025

At Vacherin, innovation is at the heart of what we do  and nothing showcases our chefs’ creativity quite like Street Vacherin. This biannual competition challenges teams to dream up bold, original street food concepts, complete with branding, storytelling, and fully developed menus.

This year’s competition, proudly sponsored by Masafina and Blok, saw three incredible teams rise to the challenge:
 The Union Taco – giving tacos a British twist with roasted cauliflower, Montgomery cheddar sauce, and Opies black walnut ketchup.
Sabroso – daringly fusing Mexican and Japanese influences with smoked lion’s mane mushroom, black bean mole, and chipotle mushroom flakes.
Ember & Masa – a vibrant Delhi-meets-Oaxaca journey, with standout tacos like The Charred Maharaja and The Delhi Smoked.

The creativity, flavour, and storytelling were truly next level. A huge congratulations to Sabroso, crowned this year’s winner, and a massive well done to all the chefs who took part.

Street Vacherin is more than a competition, it’s about pushing boundaries, connecting cultures, and shaping the next wave of street food, proudly imagined at Vacherin.
