Celebrating women in hospitality: insights from the Vacherin women in hospitality forum

We were delighted to hold the inaugural Women in Hospitality Forum for 2024. It was the perfect opportunity to celebrate the entrepreneurial spirit of women in the industry. Organised by the dynamic trio of Kirsty Sosa, Margaret Coyle, and Alicja Kalamarz, the event was a perfect occasion for igniting conversations, and forging connections amongst allies.

Our esteemed panel included Kim Innes from Humble Crumble, Nishi Kudhail from Chai and Spice, and Andrea Montes Renaud and Laura Copp from Masafina, expertly hosted by our Chef Consultant Sabrina Gidda. The discussions traversed engaging topics such as work-life balance, mentorship, and the imperative of fostering inclusivity within the industry.

Many thanks to Luminary Bakery, Masafina, and Real Sparkling Tea Company, who provided some much needed refreshments.

As the conversations ebbed and flowed, the forum served as a poignant reminder of the indomitable spirit of women driving innovation and passion within the culinary landscape. It was a celebration of resilience, creativity, and camaraderie.

We can’t wait until the next one!
